Sometimes I wonder what really separates me from most people flooding into crypto these days.

It boils down to three things, honestly:

1. I'm genuinely obsessed with the tech itself—not just the price action
2. Builders deserve their shot. Real innovation takes time and support
3. There's still plenty of room at the table. We don't need to fight over crumbs

But here's the reality check everyone forgets: innovation isn't a guaranteed moonshot. Even the most groundbreaking project can crash to zero. That's the game. The risk is real, the failures are brutal, and pretending otherwise is just cope.

If you're only here for quick flips and exit liquidity, we're playing completely different games.

I'm quite agree with the obsession with technology itself, but to be honest, most people enter the circle just to make quick money, so they can't be so noble. But on the other hand, those who truly believe in innovation do live more comfortably, and with the right mindset, risks don't seem so scary. Resetting to zero is nothing unusual; I've seen too many projects fall from heaven to hell, just get used to it. Short-term arbitrage and long-term research are indeed two different types of people; let's each do our own thing. Honestly, the phrase about fighting for petty gains hits a nerve; looking back, I've indeed done quite a few of these things. Technological believers and speculators will never play together, so there's no point in wasting effort. Failure is really brutal, and this phrase is more effective than any motivational quote.

Honestly, reading this article makes me want to rant... Tech enthusiasts are often the easiest to get slapped in the face because the market simply doesn't care about your idealism. Really, few people are willing to admit the risks. Most are still dreaming of being that exception.

Well said, this is the truth. I'm just afraid of those who shout "100x coins" every day and then run away. Or honestly ask—does anyone really know whether they trust the technology or the coin price? The pain point is here; most people simply can't exercise the restraint you mentioned. I agree that being honest about risks is much more truthful than those scammers who guarantee to make a profit.
