Financial freedom? That's laughable. I've been battling various re-entrancy bugs all year, and the profits I've made aren't even enough to cover the gas fees for an audit report. But on the other hand, seeing several projects blow up this year due to smart contract design flaws at least shows that my research into these attack vectors wasn't in vain.

nah, just watching validator attrition rates go berserk while everyone shills their "revolutionary" yield strategies... made some decent staking rewards but honestly the slashing risk and client diversity issues got me paranoid most of the year. not exactly financial freedom vibes when you're constantly monitoring network topology changes, tbh.
