Stablecoins are expanding fast on major public chains.
BBRL just launched - it's backed by Brazilian Real and built to boost digital payments across Brazil 🇧🇷 The team behind it? Grupo Braza, pushing for more onchain transactions in Latin America.
Could be interesting to watch how regional stablecoins play out.

The recent wave of regional stablecoins is indeed interesting. From three perspectives: the improvement in user payment experience in terms of playability, the hedging logic of exchange rate risk in terms of economics, and sustainability which depends on whether trading volume can form a closed loop. Whether BBRL can break through depends on Grupo Braza's execution capability. Historical data shows that regional stablecoins are prone to failure due to insufficient liquidity, which is a trap.

bbrl sounds pretty good, but can it really be used effectively in Brazil? I think it still depends on how adoption goes.
