I came across a message this morning that nearly caused me to drop my cup—someone tried to use a product similar to Taobao for fund transfers, and as soon as the transfer went out, the account was frozen, leaving the person completely stunned.

Having been involved in the cryptocurrency industry for nearly eight years, I’ve seen various risk control measures. But this time, it truly surprised me. Everyone’s impression of such currency funds has always been a “liquid pool for flexible entry and exit,” and in the past, even with some regulatory measures, it was usually possible to bypass them. Now it seems this route is no longer safe—your fund trajectory is almost transparent to regulators.

Here I want to share some practical insights, rather than just stories. The most critical issue now is: where exactly did things go wrong? There are currently two mainstream hypotheses in the community, each requiring attention.

The first hypothesis, and the most alarming one: fund flow monitoring has achieved “full-path tracking.”

What does that mean? It means that from the moment your money is recharged, every step of its journey is recorded. You might take several detours, but ultimately, the system knows exactly where it ends up. Some may question, with such large fund pools in these products, how can they possibly precisely track the final use of a particular dollar?

But the reality is, today’s data analysis capabilities are no longer what they were a few years ago. Your payment records, linked accounts, common network environments… all these pieces of information are building a complete user profile.

Stopping here for now—there’s a second hypothesis that’s even more worth being cautious about.

Forget it, this road is indeed blocked. Shit, full path tracing? Doesn't that mean all my previous sneaky moves are exposed? Even veterans with eight years of experience say they've never seen this before. Looks like I need to change my approach. The regulatory methods are upgrading too quickly; I can't keep up. This is going to completely lock down the entrances and exits.

Wow, there's really nowhere to hide now, with the funds' trajectory so transparent? Damn, it's been eight years, and this is the first time I've felt so nervous... Being caught at every detour, regulators have upgraded their tactics. I never expected data analysis to be this precise, it's a bit panic-inducing. So what can we do now? Feels like the options are getting narrower. This wave of risk control is really ruthless, directly freezing accounts, just like that. How can a large fund pool be tracked so meticulously? Is this real... No way, even common internet environments are being recorded? This is privacy... Eight years of experience seem to be all for nothing at this moment, can't even smile. By the way, what exactly is this second hypothesis? Why haven't they explained it yet?

After eight years of playing, I still underestimated it. Now it's truly transparent. --- No, the full-path tracking thing needs to be taken seriously. --- Has the era of circumvention finally ended? --- Wait, what about the second hypothesis? Just talking about half of it really makes people uncomfortable. --- The moment the account was frozen, I guess the person was basically socially dead. --- Data analysis capabilities have long been more than just a small trick; everyone who understands knows. --- I just want to know who flipped first. --- Now I understand why many people are starting to shift to on-chain. --- That guy who was frozen is probably crying right now. --- Feels like my "smart operations" are about to fail too.

technically speaking, if you analyze the data trails here... full path tracking was inevitable, not surprising. people keep thinking they're clever routing through these funds but empirically? all those obfuscation tactics are demonstrably sub-optimal now. the infrastructure they've built makes it mathematically impossible to hide, fr

Damn, is the full-path tracing really coming? There's no way around it now, I have to seriously think about what to do. Eight-year veterans are confused, which means this is a big deal. Account frozen for one second, mental breakdown for three hours, I get it. Regulatory transparency has been upgraded, and our operational space has been further squeezed. This wave of risk control upgrade came so suddenly, it’s a bit unexpected. Data analysis is indeed hard to defend against. The workaround is already history, it’s uncomfortable. Wait for the second hypothesis, it feels like it might be even more explosive.
