#美联储降息 The day before yesterday, I mentioned waiting for the right opportunity. When the market was moving upward, we closed our short positions, then kept watching until the right moment to chase a long position. Although the gains weren't particularly large, it was enough to add some positions. To be honest, correctly predicting the direction isn't the hardest part; the real challenge is timing the entry perfectly. As long as we can follow the trend in our operations, taking profits is almost trivial. Don't always think about earning that last penny, because all initial positions are laid out before the market fully moves out, so there's no such thing as being late to the game.
The recent surge in the early hours was very strong, with $BTC spiking to around 93500 and $ETH reaching 3272. The gains were indeed substantial. However, from the daily chart, this rally is far from over. Ideally, it could continue to push higher, but the space might not be as big as imagined. So even if we see it rising now, there's no need to rush into longs. We plan to wait until this rebound completely ends, then re-enter the market. My main strategy lately is still to short, and occasionally going long on a trend-following basis is also acceptable.
This morning, I opened a short position between 92700 and 93200, watching the 90000 level closely. For $ETH, I also opened a short between 3250 and 3285, mainly aiming around 3100. Adjustments will be made in real-time according to the market, so don’t stick rigidly to one idea.

Patience is the hardest; I am the kind who has lost money by stubbornly sticking to one idea.

Hey, I also called this round correctly, I just didn't dare to chase that much.

Timing the entry is indeed much harder than just picking the right direction. Frankly, it's the gambler's mentality at play.

This rebound doesn't have much room to grow; you'll need to wait for a pullback before jumping in.

Wait for the rebound to end before entering; this tactic is reliable.

actually, if you run a basic regression analysis on your entry timing versus realized volatility, the correlation coefficient would probably embarrass you. timing the market isn't skill, it's survivorship bias masquerading as edge.

Hi, the timing to enter the market is indeed the second hurdle after getting the direction right. Your recent operation was very solid. However, I still think the 90000 level might be a bit risky, so keep a close eye on it.

Hmm, this rebound doesn't have as much room as expected; it's a bit more fragile than I thought.

Positioning the card is really a skill; not everyone can resist the temptation.

Entering at the right time is the key, it's not just about seeing the right direction.
