The shoes finally dropped. News from the Southern District of New York Federal Court reports that Terraform Labs founder Do Kwon has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for the Terra and Luna token collapse incident.

Chief Judge Paul Engelmayer openly stated during the sentencing: this guy "chose to lie voluntarily," and "made wrong decisions step by step." Honestly, when the Terra ecosystem evaporated hundreds of billions of dollars back then, many retail investors lost everything. Although this verdict is late, at least it was delivered.

From the once-star project of algorithmic stablecoins to now facing a prison sentence, Do Kwon's path has come to an end. This case also serves as a wake-up call for the entire crypto industry—financial innovation is fine, but the bottom line must not be crossed.

Fifteen years, and this time there's really no escape. That wave of retail investors got slaughtered brutally back then. --- Honestly, it's deserved. Lying through your teeth and still hoping to walk away unscathed? There’s no such thing in this world. --- That couple of hundred billion dollars just disappeared like that. How many people got caught up in it... This verdict may come late, but it's not unjust. --- From star projects to behind bars, everyone in the crypto circle has seen this dramatic switch. Learn your lesson, everyone. --- It's hilarious. Those who dared to argue with the judge all ended up inside, plain and simple. --- Think clearly during your 15 years behind bars. Next time you want to fleece the retail investors, think it over. --- When Terra collapsed, I knew that guy was done—it's only a matter of time. --- The most outrageous thing is he still wanted to escape, thinking he's so clever. But in the end, he was caught and brought back. --- Algorithmic stablecoins are just that bad. What you see as promising are just scams with a platform built on them. --- The bottom line really can't be missing. Even with innovation, integrity is essential. This is the cost paid in blood.

Fifteen years, uh... those algorithm stablecoin folks, they just love to gamble with retail investors' money. --- Finally got in. They hyped it up so much at first, now they’re crashing hard. --- Lies, wrong decisions, the judge’s summary was perfect, just didn’t tell the truth, hehe. --- Billions of dollars just gone like that, luckily I didn’t get on that train. --- Where’s the bottom line? It seems like it’s never existed in this circle. --- The case of Do Kwon going to jail is probably a warning to those still trying to spin wealth creation stories. --- Is the lesson learned over 15 years worth anything? Retail investors don’t see it that way. --- That’s what you call the “cost” of “innovation,” blood and tears. --- From chosen one to behind bars, that was pretty quick.

15 years... I got caught up in that wave too back then. Seeing this verdict, I don't feel much excitement; it just feels a bit empty.

Damn, I finally got in. 2015... How was this guy so arrogant back then... --- Another star project falls, retail investors' money just disappears like that, a huge loss. --- Basically, it's financial fraud; just calling it blockchain with a different name. --- Do Kwon's case is a wake-up call for everyone wanting to scalp the little guys, indeed. --- 2015... I bet five bucks he's in prison thinking about how to make a comeback. --- That Terra episode was really tragic; I know a few people who still haven't recovered. --- The judge's words are justified; choosing to lie and making mistakes step by step, serves them right.

Fifteen years, to be honest, I already thought this guy was destined to crash and burn. --- Another "genius" project team getting caught and sent to jail—that's what you call karma. --- Billions of dollars just gone like that. How can they still talk about innovation? Pure fraud. --- Do Kwon was so arrogant before. Now, behind bars, he's probably regretting it so much his intestines turn green. --- This verdict came quite late. The retail investors who were robbed have long since cooled off. --- Though late, at least not absent. There's still a bit of a comforting feeling. --- The theory behind algorithmic stablecoins sounds very shaky. Now, people have already been involved. --- Let's see if this verdict can scare the next batch of project teams wanting to scam investors.

15 years? This guy really knows how to mess with himself. --- Honestly, he deserves it. Hundreds of billions of dollars just disappeared, yet he's still acting tough on Twitter. --- Do Kwon is in now, what about my 3,000 LUNA... --- The alarm? It's been ringing for a long time. The next scammer is already on their way. --- That one sentence from the judge was brilliant—admitting to lying as truth makes you a ruthless person. --- From celebrity to behind bars, this turn of events could make a script. --- Can't cross the bottom line? Uh... aren't there plenty in the circle who cross the line? --- Will he get out in 15 years? Who knows, the coin might still be rising. --- I truly believed in algorithmic stablecoins back then. Now I can only laugh. --- The verdict came too late, but it's still better than nothing.

Fifteen years, whether it's fewer or more, it's still okay. The only thing to fear is coming out and continuing to deceive. --- This guy used to boast loudly back then, now he has to be even more boastful. --- It's truly "voluntary lying," as the judge's statement hit the nail on the head. --- Billions just evaporated like that—victims' blood, tears, and tears of history. Late justice is still justice. --- From being a star of stablecoins to a life behind bars, this plot twist is as satisfying as a good novel. --- Honestly, I'm just curious whether he'll be satisfied staying inside or rely on sentence reduction. --- Sound the alarm for the crypto circle? Uh... does anyone really listen? --- That Luna surge was truly crazy; many people still haven't recovered.

Fifteen years... That wave of people back then were really suffering, billions just disappeared like that --- Do Kwon finally got arrested; this time, someone is finally paying for that big pit --- To be honest, if it was just a technical failure, that would be one thing. The key issue is the deliberate lying, which can’t be explained away --- Another "next-generation finance" dream has been shattered. How are retail investors supposed to pay this tuition fee? --- Fifteen years behind bars, can those lost funds be recovered? That's the real question --- Constantly hyping algorithmic stablecoins, but it’s all just deception. Now the judge has given an answer

15 years behind bars, serves him right. That group of believers was still touting Luna's rebound back then, truly incredible. --- Do Kwon has nowhere to run now; his previous evasions were really disgusting. --- Hundreds of billions of dollars just gone, a blood-stained account for retail investors... The judge's words were well said: choosing to lie proactively is more painful than anything. --- Honestly, I've seen through this long ago; these project founders will end up in prison sooner or later, it's just a matter of time. --- From genius to inmate, it's that fast. The crypto world is just so surreal. --- Can't touch the bottom line? That's laughable. Does crypto even have a bottom line? That's the real truth. --- I still remember the Terra collapse; so many people went all-in... Looks like they got what they deserved now. --- 15 years, no matter how you look at it, it's not unfair, just a bit late. --- Sometimes I wonder how this guy was so good at making things up back then, he only got caught when he lied to the federal court. --- The dust has settled, but whose money is left for those retail investors? Can the judge's 15-year sentence get my LUNA back?

15 years. Do Kwon really got caught this time. When Luna was crashing initially, I was watching in the group as hundreds of thousands evaporated instantly. Now, reading the verdict, I finally feel somewhat psychologically balanced. --- Lying, wrong decisions... the judge's words are a lesson for the entire crypto community. Some people really should take a look. --- From star project to behind bars, the contrast is stunning. Serves him right. --- Not touching the bottom line, that's a good phrase. Unfortunately, some people in the crypto world always turn a deaf ear. --- 15 years... thinking of those retail investors who lost everything back then, the verdict was late but not a wasted wait. --- Do Kwon's move is truly brilliant. He played the entire ecosystem to death and still dares to hide. Now there's nowhere to run.
