Many people often ask me: over these ten years in the crypto world, how did I accumulate several million US dollars? Did I have access to insider information or special channels?

I can only give a wry smile. If there truly were a foolproof secret to guaranteed profits, I would have already retreated to some remote resort island.

Honestly, the reason I’ve made it this far is because of a very simple approach—slow, steady, and not too greedy.

When I first entered this space, I was no different from most people. Every day, I kept my eyes glued to the K-line, throwing money into any coin that suddenly surged. What was the result? Every time I chased, I got trapped; within a few months, I lost half of my principal. That’s when I realized: in the crypto world, it’s not about who makes money the fastest, but who can survive the longest.

Since then, I set three strict rules for myself, and I’ve never broken them.

**Rule 1: Only invest in coins with clear logic.** If I don’t understand the mechanism or the project’s direction, I don’t participate. It saves me from being fooled.

**Rule 2: Always keep a backup plan.** Even if the market looks great, never allocate more than 70% of my capital. The remaining 30% must be reserved. That way, I won’t panic when unexpected situations occur.

**Rule 3: Act only when consensus and signals appear simultaneously.** For example, when the trend of a mainstream coin reverses, or when genuine inflows of capital are visible on the chain—that’s when I feel confident to enter.

In early 2023, the entire market was crazy about MEME coins. I stayed on the sidelines, watching others profit and then lose. When the market cooled off and sentiment faded, I took advantage of the lower prices to buy ETH. That round of trading tripled my account.

Gradually, I understood a fundamental truth: in crypto, it’s not about guessing right, but about learning to wait. Wait until the market direction is fully confirmed, signals are clear, and crowd sentiment has cooled before making a move.

That year, I only made six trades in total. But each one was highly successful. While others watch the market 24/7, I spend half an hour every day reviewing the charts. The rest of the time, I enjoy tea, exercise, and spend time with my family. By the end of the year, I had a steady profit of 380,000 US dollars. When the next year’s trend improved, I continued using the same approach and easily surpassed one million.

Honestly, there are no shortcuts in crypto; discipline and patience are key.

Looking back at your current operations, are you still blindly chasing trends and frequently entering and exiting? Why not try slowing down? That’s the only way to earn more sustainably and more steadily.

Really, it's just about enduring patiently and not rushing. Most people die at the step of greed.

It's the same old story... I just want to ask, why do some people always want to share their secrets after earning millions? If they really made money, why bother to write long articles? But on the other hand, his "only six trades" is indeed impressive. I myself start at fifty trades every day.

This strategy sounds good, but how many people can truly keep 70% of their position unchanged...

It's the same old story... But honestly, the three rules don't seem to have any issues, it's just that they really test human nature.

My comments: Slowing down is indeed a skill, but it's easier said than done. How many people can really hold on? --- Bro, I've heard this theory many times before. The key is execution. Most people simply can't sit still. --- Six trades pushing past one million. Honestly, I'm still trading frequently and feel like I've been cut countless times. --- The phrase "Learn to wait" really hit home. I used to be the type to chase gains and sell on dips. --- The three dead rules are spot on. The only thing is, I really couldn't understand that MEME wave, but luckily I didn't go all in. --- Half an hour of review every day, and the rest of the time drinking tea and spending time with family. This quality of life is truly appealing.

That's right, taking it slow is the real way to make money. I'm the kind of fool who chases high and gets trapped.

Awakening too late, I was the fool chasing highs and getting trapped a couple of years ago. Now I realize that slow is fast. --- Six trades to break a million? The biggest lesson I've learned in these three years is to keep quiet and watch the market, not to operate blindly. --- The moment consensus appears, you can really feel it, like having a signal light in your heart. If it’s not lit, hold tight; if it lights up, place your bet. That feeling is incredible. --- I'm also practicing patience, but I still can’t resist the urge to touch those unfamiliar things. I need to understand your strategy thoroughly. --- Using 70% of the position is really ruthless. I went all in before and got completely frozen. Now I regret it deeply. --- According to your logic, my frequent entries and exits are like self-destructive behavior. I need to reflect on myself properly.
