It’s actually crazy how memecoins are getting zero stage time at @Solana Breakpoint 2025 when they were literally the user-acquisition engine for this cycle.

At peak mania, memecoins were pushing ~70% of Solana trading volume.

Now it’s sub 5% and everyone suddenly pretends the sector never mattered.

That’s the pattern every cycle:

👉Memecoins do the dirty work.
👉Grab attention when nobody’s watching
👉Onboard normies faster than any “real product”
👉Drive volume, fees, liquidity, and app activity
👉Stress test infra in the most brutal way possible

Then when the party cools off, they become the easiest thing to dismiss, mock, and extract from.

Love them or hate them, memecoins are the unsung growth loop of Solana.

If you’re building on Solana, you don’t have to worship memes, but you should respect what they’ve done for the ecosystem.
