Someone discovered an interesting phenomenon. Taking FOLKS as an example, at 12:00 noon today, the funding rate was still at a negative 2 level, but suddenly jumped to 0.7, accompanied by a noticeable decline in trading volume and loosening of positions.
More importantly, the platform changed the funding settlement cycle from every 4 hours to 1 hour in just 5 minutes. Such a rapid adjustment is indeed somewhat outrageous.
What is the logic behind this? One hypothesis is: by shortening the cycle, increasing the frequency of funding deductions during periods of high volatility, thereby amplifying the cost pressure on holders. First, press down the price, then accelerate the harvesting rhythm.
Of course, this is just market participants' observations and guesses. The specific reason is known only to the operators. However, such rapid adjustments are worth paying attention to, as they directly affect each trader’s holding costs.

Here comes the old trick of cutting leeks again, changing the cycle in 5 minutes is really incredible.
---
From -2 to 0.7, this contrast is too harsh, clearly a signal of harvesting.
---
This platform is full of bad intentions, it's better to stay away.
---
Changing the rules every 5 minutes? Do they have to be so blatant haha.
---
With this wave of operations on the funding rate, the guys holding positions are probably going bankrupt.
---
That's how the platform is, they change the rules at will, can't compete.
---
FOLKS, this matter is outrageous, it feels like they're deliberately sweeping people's positions.
---
The rate goes from negative to positive, and it happens so quickly, just thinking about it, you know what's going on.
---
Changing the cycle every 5 minutes? Isn't this just telling you they're harvesting.
---
It's the same old trick, always first suppress the price and then accelerate the harvest, a classic move.

5-minute cycle change? That move is pretty ruthless
---
Drop from -2 directly to 0.7, what the heck, the market maker is causing trouble
---
Here comes the usual trick of cutting the leeks, always the same
---
It's outrageous, why not inform users in advance
---
Laughing, isn't this just openly harvesting
---
FOLKS platform has been a bit aggressive lately, everyone should be cautious
---
Basically, it's a disguised way of cutting losses, the cycle change causes fee rates to skyrocket
---
I've seen this move before, it's definitely intentional
---
Everyone, don't be fooled, they just want to collect more fees
---
Really interesting, why doesn't the platform explain?

Coming back with the same trick? The funding rate jumps directly from -2 to 0.7, I just want to ask if the platform is treating us as cash cows
---
Looking at this operation method, it does have a certain flavor... first lowering the price then shortening the cycle, the rhythm is so tight, it’s not a coincidence
---
So this is why my position suddenly had so many deductions yesterday, damn
---
FOLKS, this move is really outrageous, changing the rules in just a few minutes, traders have no time to react
---
The rate jumps from -2 to 0.7 instantly, and trading volume still declines? Isn’t this just harvesting? I think it’s fine
---
Those guys just know how to play this game, every time the price fluctuates they have to change parameters, so annoying
---
Changing cycle every 5 minutes, such speed... what are the operators thinking?
---
Why again, are they really just treating traders as wool to be plucked?
---
I just want to know who authorized the platform to change rules so arbitrarily, it feels like retail investors are always the ones getting screwed

This 5-minute cycle change operation is really intense.
---
Negative 2 to 0.7? This jump must be to cut the leeks.
---
Here we go again? Playing like this every time, retail investors always end up as the bag holders.
---
The platform changes rules so quickly, do they really want people to lose everything?
---
Changing the fee settlement cycle and then harvesting—this routine is just too obvious.
---
It feels like setting a trap, waiting for you to come in and then strike.
---
It's a bit disgusting, this operator really dares to play.
---
FOLKS' recent move is really ruthless, changing in just 5 minutes.

No wonder the chips are loosening, it turns out they are squeezing out liquidity.
