Next year, the macro environment will change. The Federal Reserve and major central banks such as those in Europe and Australia are expected to shift their stance, moving from aggressive rate cuts in 2025 to maintaining or raising interest rates. The reason is quite realistic—last year, countries flooded the market too aggressively, causing risk assets like US stocks, European stocks, gold, and cryptocurrencies to all rise. But the problem is, these major assets are now at neutral interest rate levels, and the room for further monetary easing has basically disappeared.

What does this mean? In 2026, especially in the first half of the year, without new liquidity support, the market will face pressure. Following this logic, Bitcoin will return to around $70,000, and Ethereum is likely to hover around $2,000.

If you are trading these assets, you can consider this: for long-term positions, decisively short when there is a rebound to the high points; for short-term trading, repeatedly operate within the volatility, and once a significant rebound occurs, go 1x short (this way, risk is manageable and it’s less likely to get liquidated). Hold onto the trapped positions; in the end, the bear market will be profitable. The key is to wait and not wander in a daze in the middle.

Is it going to drop again and again? Last year they said it would crash, and it's still here now. You say the Fed will raise interest rates in 2025? I don't believe it. The Federal Reserve turns around faster than women. 70,000 BTC, 2,000 ETH... These numbers are getting boring. It's better to focus on your own positions. Sleepwalking? Bro, I've already fallen asleep in the bear market. Waking up to profits.

The bottom of the liquidity injection is in, now it's time to get serious. 70k Bitcoin is a bit uncertain, feels like it needs to go lower. Exactly right, for long-term shorting, wait for a rebound, don’t be reckless. The first half of 2026 is indeed risky, hold your positions well and don’t panic. It's just a trick again, as soon as the central bank turns, you have to run. Short-term fluctuations, keep risks lower, I agree. The biggest test of mentality in a bear market, truly a nightmare. Ethereum 2k? That's a bit harsh, but the logic checks out. Just wait, there's no other way, time will give the answer. This cycle is coming, feels a bit different.

Once again, baseless macro narratives, the old story of liquidity is tired. Wait, is 70,000 really reasonable? I heard similar predictions last year. Short-term 1x leverage? That advice is a bit conservative haha. What can I say, hearing "final profit in a bear market" n times, but that day never comes. The central bank wants to raise interest rates? Let's first look at our own national conditions. Getting trapped is just getting trapped, nothing can change that reality. I believe in this logical deduction, but I don't believe anyone can precisely time the top. 2000 ETH? Haha, if it were that simple, that'd be great. The flood of liquidity is widely recognized, but who can accurately predict the turning point? Shorting? Or are there more people optimistic? This market is really insane. The word "sleepwalking" is quite fitting; I am currently sleepwalking.

70,000? I'll pretend I didn't hear that. Anyway, I've been caught already, so I'll just lie low for now. Wait, are we really going back to this price level? Then all my bags from last year would be for nothing. Short-term trading sounds simple, but in reality, I just can't stop myself. Every rebound, I mindlessly jump in. I hear that in a bear market, you can still make profits, but in the end, it's always account zeroed out. Lack of liquidity really hurts. Should I cut losses or wait? I'm torn. Is 1x shorting risk controllable? I think it's just self-comforting. Those who get liquidated think the same. It's not easy to stop dreaming; maybe this is my destiny. Here's the key question: who can truly sell when there's a rebound? It's easy to say. I bet it won't reach 70,000; this time, it's different. Holding? Holding what, brother? I already went fully short.

Honestly, I've heard the logic that 2026's first half will see a crash several times, and someone always believes it. Wait, can Bitcoin really drop to 70,000? What should I do with my short position at 75,000? Repeatedly taking losses in short-term fluctuations is my expertise. Thanks for the reminder. Holding onto trapped positions and waiting? I’ve long been sleepwalking toward liquidation, hahaha. The bonuses from the era of pump and dump are gone. Now it's just a matter of who can survive until the next cycle.
