Many people are investing in Hong Kong dividend insurance policies, attracted by the 6.5% annualized return. But there is a less commonly mentioned perspective — Bitcoin and these types of insurance products share many similarities.

At first glance, it might seem absurd, but the data speaks for itself. Looking at historical prices, you'll find that Bitcoin's price on any given day is generally higher than the price on the same day four years earlier. What does this mean? As long as your holding period extends to 4 years, the probability of losing money is actually very low.

From another perspective, this is like an investment product with an automatic lock-in period. Insurance guarantees the safety of principal through laws and contractual terms, while Bitcoin relies on historical patterns and market cycles — a complete cycle lasts 4 years, and at the end of the cycle, the profit probability is close to 100%.

Of course, volatility is real. You might experience significant fluctuations within 4 years, but this is precisely the biggest difference from insurance products — you have the opportunity to enhance returns through timing strategies, and even shorten the 4-year cycle. Calculated this way, the yield is far higher than traditional insurance products.

If your goal is purely wealth preservation and appreciation, it’s more straightforward to hold Bitcoin than to be bound by the complex terms of insurance products. Holding a Hong Kong card to access crypto assets is also very convenient. However, it’s worth noting that insurance products also have the function of risk transfer, which Bitcoin cannot provide.

4-year cycle 100% profit? Dude, where did you get this data from? What about the 2018 wave?

6.5% return? Wake up, have you seen the coin price from 4 years ago? Now it's more than doubled.

Oh my God, they're back to selling the story that Bitcoin is an insurance product.

A 6.5% return rate isn't really impressive; it takes four years to double, and Bitcoin's historical data is right there.

The four-year cycle theory sounds good, but can you guarantee that Bitcoin will still rise in the next four years?
