actually... the whole "mirroring bitcoin" framing here glosses over some pretty critical differences in trust assumptions, ngl. like, bitcoin's halving operates on pure consensus rules enforced by cryptographic primitives, but has TAO really solved the same computational security model? asking for a friend who definitely hasn't already dug into their protocol specs lol
