Recently, many beginners have been led to chase high by some well-known traders, causing quite a stir. Especially with coins like BEAT, which surged from the bottom to over 20 times its original value, and people still keep calling for long positions. As you all know—the final result is being firmly trapped at the peak, with no way to recover the initial investment.

Such incidents are very common in the market. What I’ve always wanted to say is that chasing highs is not trading; it’s gambling. The bigger the price increase, the higher the risk. This is the most basic principle. The market is never short of people wanting to get rich quickly, and it’s also never short of those willing to exploit this.

My advice has always been the same: when encountering a clear upward trend, learn to reduce positions or go completely flat and observe. Position management is far more important than chasing huge profits. Set proper stop-losses and don’t let a single wrong judgment ruin your principal. Small profits are the real king; only by staying alive in the market can you continue to make money.

I hope everyone can find a trading rhythm that suits them, use rationality to fight greed, and make money in the new year.

Chasing high is really just courting death. Those who get dizzy watching the limit-up boards should calm down. That's right, position management is the key to survival. Don't keep dreaming of 100x returns every day. BEAT's incident has already become a textbook example of a negative lesson. It's truly astonishing that some people still go in to buy the dip. It's always the same routine; by the time you react, you've already been locked out. Surviving is the most important thing. Stop-loss must be set properly, or a single bad decision can wipe you out. It's not worth the risk. Small profits are the most stable. Everyone wants to get rich overnight, but reality is so cruel. What this market lacks most are not traders, but traders who can survive.

Chasing highs, to put it simply, is like jumping into a fire pit. I also watched that BEAT wave; it was indeed a bit outrageous. But on the other hand, there's always someone taking the bait, which is even more outrageous. Stop-loss is truly a necessity. If not set properly, it becomes a permanent hold.
