#ShareMyTrade Today I’m sharing a recent swing trade idea focused on a high-liquidity major, BTC, executed during a period of range expansion after consolidation. The market spent several sessions compressing below a key daily resistance, while volume dried up and funding normalized, signaling a potential breakout rather than exhaustion.

Entry logic was based on a confluence setup. On the 4H chart, price reclaimed the 50 EMA and held it as dynamic support, while RSI crossed above 50 with bullish divergence on the pullback. I entered a partial position on the retest of the breakout zone, keeping risk defined. The invalidation level was clearly set below the range low to avoid getting chopped by fake moves.

Position management was conservative. I scaled in only after a higher low formed and volume confirmed continuation. My first take-profit was placed near the previous daily high to secure base profits, while the remaining position was left to run toward the next liquidity pocket identified by visible equal highs. A trailing stop was used once price moved decisively in my favor.

Exit logic followed the plan without emotions. Partial profits were booked as targets were hit, and the final portion was closed when momentum slowed and a bearish divergence appeared on lower timeframes. The trade closed green with an average gain of around 6%, while maximum drawdown stayed under 1.5%, keeping the risk-to-reward favorable.

Key takeaway from this trade is patience and structure. Waiting for confirmation, defining invalidation early, and managing size made execution smooth.
