In the past month, I've experienced three consecutive liquidation events, all while shorting with 3x leverage. The most embarrassing was waking up to find my position gone. It wasn't until I looked at the candlestick charts that I realized no matter how much the price drops, I can still get wiped out. It's really speechless. But thinking about it, I can understand—each time I opened a dozen or so short positions simultaneously, and over time, I was bound to get caught in a trap. A short-term countertrend movement with about 30% volatility can wipe out your entire capital in one wave.

Basically, it's greed. Opening too many contract positions is no different from gambling at a casino; losing money is inevitable. On the other hand, instead of spreading out small positions across various altcoins, it's better to focus on the top few coins with the highest trading volume. Although these mainstream coins don't surge as wildly, their rhythm is relatively regular, and the probability of extreme market conditions is significantly lower.

My current plan is to be more conservative, mainly capturing airdrop opportunities to boost returns and also to hone my trading skills. With limited experience, there's no need to gamble recklessly with leverage.
