Let me share my three criteria for choosing altcoins in the future

In Web3, there's an unspoken but rarely challenged truth: many tokenomics and what the projects are actually doing are basically two different things.
Various DEX tokens, like UNI, 1inch, COW, CAKE, and so on. Many people instinctively think that the more users and the higher the trading volume, the more valuable the token. But in reality, the protocol's earnings have little to do with the tokens you hold. Holding them at most gives you a "symbolic" governance right, in other words, just a token of influence. Recently, Uniswap proposing to buy back or burn UNI with fees, which even made the news, should have been standard practice all along.
Looking at this round of AI tokens that gained popularity, why are people more willing to pay attention? The core reason is that they are starting to try to tie the tokens more closely to the project itself. For example, Virtuals and similar projects, some buy back or burn with revenue, some require holding tokens to access services. The direction is correct, at least no longer purely air, but the problems are obvious: Are there hard constraints? Who supervises? What if the team just changes the rules at will?
So you'll find that most projects are vague on these key points. It's not that they don't understand, but they don't want to clarify, because being clear would leave them no room to maneuver. The last round of "money-making teams" also understood this well. They shouted about compliance while using "fear of being classified as securities" as an excuse to refuse buybacks and dividends, resulting in legal but compliant ways of extracting value. Web3 was turned into a gray industry art by them.
Therefore, my three standards for choosing altcoins are:
First, tiered holding and service access, the more tokens you hold, the higher your permissions
Second, after the project makes money, buy back tokens, effectively acting as the team’s market maker
Third, simply use all income to burn tokens, creating deflation, with the team earning little or nothing, allowing users to benefit as the price rises.
In summary, my three criteria for selecting altcoins are: meeting two of these is ideal. If the project is particularly excellent and meets one, I might consider holding it. Of course, this standard requires you to research the basic situation of the altcoins you like. I can also help everyone research later. Which coin do you want to analyze?
