A Large Investor was scammed out of 50 million USDT due to a phishing attack. After the incident, the victim directly left a message on-chain to the phisher, stating that if the entire amount could be returned, they would be willing to pay a reward of 1 million USD as compensation.

Sounds like quite a bit, right? But the problem is — as of now, there hasn't been any response over there.

What's strange? The probability of this money coming back is very low. The reason is simple: this 50 million USDT has long been converted into ETH and then completely laundered through mixing tools. Want to recover it? Basically hopeless.

This matter reflects a reality: once on-chain assets fall into the hands of criminals, the difficulty of recovering the funds is almost hellish. The phishers are unlikely to respond, as their goal is to completely sever tracking clues. No matter how tempting the bounty of 1 million USD is, it cannot change the fact that the funds have already been dispersed by mixing tools.
