I often withdraw cash to move to HK, and the banks in the mainland have become very strict about cash withdrawals.

Every time the bank teller asks me what I need to withdraw cash for,
At first, I said consumption, and he asked me what I was consuming. I said buying a car, and he said I could use a credit card.
I said it's fine, it's at home, he said it's not safe to leave it there. Anyway, nothing seems to work.
Later I found out that it could be called a betrothal gift. Every time the teller asked me what I was withdrawing for, I would just say two words: betrothal gift.
Then the teller wouldn't ask a second question, and even looked at me with a kind of sympathetic gaze.
A bride price of 300,000, and it is usually required to be in cash, which is very reasonable in China.
