President Trump says that anyone who disagrees with him will never become Fed Chair

🔸 President Trump states that the US economic data is very strong, with GDP growth much higher than expected, even after the recent government shutdown.

🔸 He believes that the modern market is reacting incorrectly, as good economic news is causing the market to stay flat or decline due to fears of rising interest rates.

🔸 President Trump criticizes the view that a strong market automatically causes inflation, and says that inflation comes from poor policies, not from growth.

🔸 He wants the Fed to cut interest rates when the market is strong and inflation can be managed later if necessary, but not to stifle the growth too early.

🔸 He wants a Fed Chair who supports market growth and economic momentum.

PS. The US President has full authority to nominate the next Fed Chair. The Senate only has the power to confirm or reject through an advisory and approval process, and cannot choose or appoint someone else on its own. If rejected, the President can nominate a new candidate.
