Some compare Bitcoin to digital gold and Litecoin to digital silver. But here's the question — if you had to choose, would you exchange your crypto assets for traditional precious metals? Conversely, why not just hold Bitcoin and Litecoin instead of buying gold and silver? This logical twist is quite interesting and worth pondering.

The idea of Bitcoin as digital gold is outdated. Who still considers these two as equivalents nowadays?

Really? I've already gone all in on crypto; that gold stuff is too outdated.

I'll be honest, this analogy itself is a bit ridiculous. Comparing digital metals to real gold and silver? Illogical.
BTC has outperformed gold by a tenfold increase over the past ten years, so what about silver?
Digital gold is just a hype concept. If you really want to preserve value, it's better to hold physical assets directly.
Talking about logical twists, it's actually just the crypto community's self-hype marketing tactic.
Gold and silver are truly scarce, but encryption is just code. Can they really be the same? Wake up.
Hold both, is it necessary to choose one or the other? It's risk hedging.
Bitcoin never betrays, everything else is just empty stories.

I think this analogy itself is problematic. Gold is a physical asset, while a coin is code; they can't be compared directly.

The term "digital gold" sounds like psychological suggestion. Does anyone really believe it? I still think Bitcoin is just Bitcoin, don't make random comparisons.

I actually think this analogy is a bit awkward, as the crypto world always loves to boost its own image.

Haha, this logic is indeed convoluted. I still trust the stuff on the chain more.
