Spent half an hour wrestling with a KYC process the other day - totally frustrated and nearly threw in the towel. Seriously, why does something so straightforward have to be such a nightmare to build? The friction is real. But then I realized - clean, seamless KYC actually isn't impossible. Some projects like Espresso are already proving there's a better way to handle identity verification without all the friction. They've figured out what most platforms haven't: that a smooth onboarding experience isn't a luxury, it's table stakes. Makes you wonder why more teams don't prioritize this.

KYC is really the biggest challenge in Web3; it can make people want to vomit in half an hour... But Espresso's approach is quite interesting, making the tedious process of verification as simple as eating. Why don't other projects learn from it?
