Abstract generation in progress

Swiss digital asset custodian Sygnum has revealed a strategic collaboration with the Sui Foundation to roll out a full suite of services tailored for institutional investors. As SUI trades at $1.40 with a 24-hour fluctuation of -0.74%, the partnership aims to capture growing institutional interest in the ecosystem.

Multi-Layered Service Offering

The initiative encompasses three core pillars. First, regulated custody solutions will ensure institutional assets remain secure and compliant. Second, both spot and derivatives trading capabilities will be made available, enabling institutions to execute sophisticated trading strategies. Third, the staking mechanism for SUI will go live in the near future, allowing participants to earn rewards on their holdings.

Lombard Loans Feature Coming Soon

Looking ahead to Q4, Sygnum intends to introduce Lombard loans backed by SUI tokens. This financial instrument will enable institutions to leverage their SUI positions as collateral for fiat lending, adding another dimension to institutional participation in the Sui ecosystem. With SUI’s market capitalization now at $5.23B and trading volume at $4.34M over the past day, the timing reflects broader institutional adoption trends.

This collaboration underscores how traditional finance infrastructure is increasingly integrating with blockchain protocols, creating seamless on and off ramps for regulated capital entering crypto ecosystems.
