I wanted to make a post about this regarding our current portfolio positioning:
Our tax obligation for the year of 2025 has grown to exceed the current value of our portfolio due to the fees earned being taxed at the time of receiving them. We did most of our volume when $zora was 2-3x higher than it currently is, and given the current state of creator coins our taxes owed are greater than our portfolio value.
We have had to sell most of our creator coins, and will continue to do so through the year end in order to harvest losses, and allow us to rebuild our portfolio and positions through next year.
