EVgo Taps Finance Veteran Keefer Lehner as New CFO; Maintains Ambitious 2025 Revenue Target

Electric vehicle charging network operator EVgo Inc. is making a leadership shift at the top finance role. Keefer Lehner, who currently serves as CFO of KLX Energy Services, will take the helm as Chief Financial Officer starting January 12, 2025. He replaces Paul Dobson, who will stay on through March 2026 in an advisory role to facilitate the transition.

Lehner brings two decades of experience leading finance operations at a public company, making him well-positioned to navigate EVgo’s growth trajectory. His appointment comes as the company reaffirmed its fiscal 2025 financial outlook, signaling management confidence in operational momentum.

What’s Driving EVgo’s 2025 Forecast

The company expects to generate between $350 million and $405 million in total revenue during fiscal 2025, with potential upside of an additional $40 million. On the profitability front, Adjusted EBITDA is projected to swing from a loss of $15 million to a profit of $23 million, though additional gains of up to $31 million could materialize. These ancillary gains hinge on closing a dedicated fleet site contract and realizing proceeds from a related asset sale.

The revenue guidance reflects EVgo’s position as a leading direct current fast charging network operator in the EV infrastructure space. In market trading, EVGO shares closed at $3.45 on Wednesday, gaining 2.07% on the Nasdaq.
