2026 Cryptocurrency Investment Must-Know: Cheap tokens are not necessarily undervalued. Many beginners easily fall into a trap—seeing a low price and assuming high potential, but this kind of judgment is full of flaws. What truly determines a project's value is not the price of a single token, but the overall market capitalization of the project. The same project may appear to have vastly different token prices due to different total supplies. Before choosing your next coin, ask yourself: what is the total market cap of this project? Don't be fooled by low prices; market cap is the only standard for assessing a project's true valuation.

Well said, market capitalization... I just didn't understand it back then. I poured 50,000 into a coin worth 0.001, and what was the result? A supply of 1 billion tokens, and the market cap is only in the millions. Thinking about it now, it's really laughable. Beginners are most likely to fall into this trap, and I am a living example. Everyone, take this as a warning.

Here we go again? I've seen too many old investors get cut by low-priced coins. Wake up, everyone.

I've fallen into too many traps with low-priced coins. Now I only rely on market capitalization; everything else is useless.

Another article teaching beginners. To be honest, everyone understands these principles, but they forget all about them when it comes to execution. I’ve also fallen into these traps myself, looking at a 0.0001 coin and thinking of getting rich, only to end up losing everything, even my underwear.

The old trick of low-priced coins is just a scam, I've fallen for it too. The key is still to look at market capitalization, don't be fooled by the coin price.

The trap of low-priced coins is like reentrancy vulnerabilities in contracts; if you can't see it, you'll suffer losses. Market capitalization is the real indicator; don't be fooled by supply figures.
