NGL, this is the right approach. Hide those gas fees, contract addresses, and other trivial matters so that ordinary people don't even realize blockchain exists. Only then can it truly go mainstream.

honestly this is the narrative we've been preaching since 2016 but glad mainstream is finally catching up. abstraction layers aren't sexy but they're how networks actually scale beyond the larping crowd

It sounds like they're just hiding the complexity. Anyway, us old-timers are already used to it—getting cut first and then talking about mainstream. I heard this kind of abstraction talk on L2 last time, but I still had to manage gas myself, do cross-chain, and remember a string of hexadecimal... Now they're doing it again? By the time user experience becomes seamless, I'm afraid my debit card will have been frozen long ago haha.
