The DeFi market welcomes an infrastructure upgrade. A certain DEX platform officially opens its WebSocket API interface to professional market makers, aiming to attract top liquidity providers to build deeper order books. This move marks an important evolution in the platform's infrastructure. The key highlights include three aspects: sub-millisecond execution speed to ensure extremely optimized transaction response, on-chain settlement mechanism to guarantee fund security and transparency, and industry-leading tight spreads achieved through deep order books. Once the toolchain and incentive mechanisms for professional market makers are完善, the upgrade of the DeFi trading experience will have a solid foundation.

tbh the whole "subsecond execution" pitch is... let's call it aspirational. historically precedent suggests these infra upgrades hit a coordination problem nobody wants to admit—the real externalities sit in how you actually incentivize the mm's to show up. the governance primitives here feel underspecified imo

Sub-millisecond execution? Sounds good, but I wonder if it will turn out to be another story once it's actually running.

Finally, someone is taking it seriously. Sub-millisecond execution like this should have been popularized long ago.

Sub-millisecond listening sounds pretty impressive, but will the actual market makers come? Let's see.
