Really, it's good enough to have some gains after a year, considering how competitive the market is. Persisting in doing meaningful things? Easier said than done, it really depends on how much you can earn. Infrastructure is still being improved, and application iteration is painfully slow... but there are still opportunities, I suppose. It would be great if this cycle could really take off, otherwise it's all just empty talk. Feels like you still need to seize the opportunity and not get cut out.
