The Pursuit of Yield in LP Pools

Many liquidity provider projects in the market are blindly chasing yields, but the real difference lies in structural design.

Some projects separate market-making returns, stablecoin yields, and fee calculations, leaving users to figure it out themselves. More refined solutions transparently stack all these components—market-making income, allocation of high-yield assets like sUSDe, and trading fees—within a clear logical framework.

With the same principal, different architectural designs can yield significantly different returns. That’s why structured thinking is so crucial for the long-term development of DeFi. Investors not only focus on short-term gains but also prioritize whether the platform can build trust through transparent and sustainable mechanisms. This is the right path for DeFi to earn long-term capital.

Transparency is the key, and projects that split their profits into tiny pieces should really reflect on themselves.

To put it simply, those complicated projects are just trying to fool people. Anyway, I can't understand their separate calculations. The combined transparency design is indeed satisfying, saving me from calculating the accounts for a long time.

Really, many projects just fudge the yield data, and users still have to piece it together themselves, which is exhausting. Transparency sounds simple in theory, but few actually implement it. Looking at APY alone is useless; you need to see if the structural design is reliable. The same thousand dollars, with different structures, can mean double the returns—it's outrageous. DeFi currently lacks trust, and those projects that openly share all data are actually more trustworthy.

That's right, these LP projects are all about one-upping each other with new tricks, confusing users and ultimately causing inexplicable losses. Honestly, transparency really makes a difference. Some platforms deliberately make the accounts complicated to prevent people from realizing they're being scammed. But to be fair, no matter how transparent or structured it is, when the bear market comes, you still have to kneel... Is the returns sustainable? I always feel like it's just sustainable losses haha.

Transparency is really the baseline of DeFi... I can't be bothered to look at projects that split the returns into tiny pieces.

Exactly right. These LP projects are really just pretending now. Making profits so complicated that it's like mining, and users have to spend ages with calculators. Isn't this just covertly scamming users? Truly capable projects should have already streamlined all the profit logic to save everyone the trouble.

Architecture design is really the key to differentiated competition. No matter how high the returns are, it's useless if users can't see clearly. Well said, assets like sUSDe with high yields are the right approach, unlike some projects that run after mining. It's really a test of whether the project team has a long-term mindset. Transparency mechanisms > inflated APY

honestly the data suggests most protocols are just doing yield farming theater at this point. real structural design? empirically speaking, that's maybe 15% of what's out there. the rest is just... noise masquerading as strategy tbh

Finally, someone has explained it clearly: most LP projects are just playing a numbers game, breaking down the returns into tiny pieces for you to calculate yourself. Only a few truly excel, and clear, transparent logic is the key to success.

The key is to see clearly whether the platform is truly transparent or just pretending to be.
