Some time ago, I tried the decentralized page of LQTY. I collateralized 1.1 ETH at a 110% ratio, which resulted in generating 3120 LUSD. Then I took these LUSD to a DEX and sold them for USDT. The whole process was actually quite smooth. From a certain perspective, it’s really like depositing ETH, and at the same time, you can get liquidity to use. You can deposit for as long as you want. The operation process is indeed not complicated, and even beginners can get started. But to be honest, the help it provided me personally was actually limited — more of a novelty, and its practical use isn’t that significant.

LQTY has been hyped up quite a bit, but after using it, it's just so-so. Once the novelty wears off, there's not much point.

Honestly, after playing with LQTY, I think it's just a cash-out tool. Once the novelty wears off, there's not much point.

Playing with LUSD at a 110% collateral ratio sounds pretty exciting, but the liquidation risk is real...

110% collateralization ratio, this guy really has guts. But to be fair, LUSD's stability is indeed quite good, it's just that the liquidity mining rewards have become extremely competitive [dog head]. Generating stablecoin cash-out sounds simple, but have you considered the liquidation risks, gas costs, and slippage behind it? To put it plainly, it's just a "legal way to borrow money without repayment." No matter how high the APY is, you still need to withstand the volatility. If this thing were truly useful, big players would have already filled the liquidity pools. Now, it's still up to the community to farm it out. ETH drops 20%, your 1.1 directly becomes 0.88, and that's when you'll realize what "saving money" really means.

A 110% ratio sounds great, but you also need to watch out for the 110% liquidation price—this isn't a piggy bank.
