What will Bitcoin do in 2026? The industry is divided into two camps, arguing fiercely.

One side is the bearish camp, believing that Bitcoin will undergo a deep correction, and the price may fall back to a relatively low level; the other side is the bullish camp, calling for a sprint to $150,000 by the end of the year, and even predicting that in 2027 it could reach a ceiling of $250,000.

Recently, the market has indeed given the industry a lot of confidence. BTC just successfully broke through the $90,000 barrier, with leading cryptocurrencies like Ethereum and Solana also stabilizing. ETH has risen above $3,100, and SOL has surged past $130. Even more exaggerated are the altcoins like PEPE, IP, and WLFI, which have soared over 20% in the past three days. They do look quite "bullish."

But to be fair, this is often the rhythm at the beginning of the year. Every year, someone claims that the "altcoin season is returning," but is this time truly different, or will it fall short again? Given the current complex global political and economic situation, whether cryptocurrencies can replicate the "golden surge" like precious metals remains a suspense.

To determine whether this is truly the arrival of the altcoin season, we need to look at the data. From the exchange's top gainers list, although the rebound momentum is good, the distribution of the top-performing coins is not as concentrated as expected. This indicates that the current rally is still in a "partial rebound" stage and far from a full-scale launch. Overall, the market's performance is not enough to support the judgment that the "altcoin season is returning"—this more resembles a rational, staged rebound rather than a comprehensive market reversal.
BTC0,36%
ETH-0,85%
SOL-0,28%
PEPE-1,05%

Here we go again, the old routine at the beginning of the year. Every time they say the altcoin season is coming, and what’s the result? Brothers and sisters, don’t be fooled by this 20% increase. The data is right here; it’s just a partial rebound. $150,000? $250,000? Dream on, but when you wake up, it’s time to eat and sleep. The bearish camp might have hit the mark this time. With such a complex political and economic situation, the crypto market really isn’t that resilient. Wait, is PEPE really surging so strongly? Why didn’t I catch up... Every year, someone calls for altcoin season. Has it ever truly arrived? I haven’t seen it. Breaking $90,000 for BTC does give some hope, but does that mean a bull market is here? Think again. A rebound is just a rebound. Don’t insist on calling it an "altcoin season." That’s clickbait.

It's the same old story, they say the same thing every year Up and down, who the hell can predict it accurately I just want to ask, can you really reach $250,000? Altcoins rise 20% and people get excited, come on, it's just a rebound A local rebound and acting like it's a major event, wake up $90,000 is just an artificial high, waiting for the day it drops

Is this coming again? Every year someone calls for a "Shanzhai Season," but it turns out to be just a pretext to harvest retail investors. BTC breaking 90,000 is cause for excitement, but let's wait and see. A rebound doesn't mean a bull market. This wave at the beginning of the year was indeed a bit confusing, but the data is clear—it's still a partial rebound. Don't be fooled by these妖币 like PEPE. Really reaching 250,000 USD? Dream on. The political and economic situation is so complex that just stabilizing is already good. I'll just watch quietly and not follow the hype. Those KOLs' predictions are just for listening.

Another prediction game, after arguing for so many years, isn't the bullish outcome still winning? Here we go again with "This time the copycat season is really here," I don't believe you... If 150,000 really shoots up, I'll eat my keyboard live on stream. Bitcoin breaking through 90,000 has me dreaming of 250,000, I’m too familiar with this rhythm. Without clear data explanation, shouting blindly, a typical local rebound blown out as a full bull market. Said the same last year, why haven't we seen 25,000? Is this for real this time? I only look at the top gainers list of those junk coins, I have no confidence.

Here comes the prophecy of another round of retail investors being squeezed, $250,000? Haha --- I believe Bitcoin will break $90,000, but the altcoin season? Same story every year, I think it will crash again --- The data is right here, it's not a full-scale launch at all, don’t be led by the hype --- A partial rebound is just a partial rebound, do you have to invent a story of "altcoin season returning" to be satisfied? --- PEPE surging 20%? Isn’t that just rich people squeezing retail investors? This trick has been played for years --- $250,000... dreaming? The global political and economic chaos, and you still expect a myth of skyrocketing? --- Anyway, I don’t believe in a rebound this year, I’ll wait until it drops again --- It’s the same at the beginning of the year, by mid-year you’re supposed to be losing money, a pattern

Still arguing about the knockoff season? We've seen this routine in previous years, and in the end, it's all about cutting the leeks. Wait, is this time really different? I want to believe it, but the data is right there. Constantly shouting 150,000, 250,000, why not shout 500,000? Anyway, it's all just hype. A 20% increase looks impressive, but it's actually just a partial rebound. Don't be fooled. If $250,000 really comes, I’ll eat my keyboard live on stream, but for now, let's be cautious. I think this wave of market activity is just a fake-out before the leeks are harvested. Let's see how the end of the year turns out, it's too early to make a judgment now.

Here comes the prediction of another round of retail investors getting chopped up, I don’t believe you. --- $150,000? Haha, every year they say that, and in the end, isn’t it just the same old story? --- Bulls and bears are all talking nonsense; the data is the real boss. --- Fake copies season? Don’t be silly, every year they shout it, every year it’s just air. --- Breaking $90,000 for BTC is indeed exciting, but I have a feeling this wave will crash. --- Don’t hype up a local rebound as a full-blown bull market, that’s funny. --- I just want to see how you explain this failed bottom-fishing again. --- $250,000 ceiling? Dream on, or are there really that many bagholders? --- SOL’s early gains are being called a fake copy season, classic case. --- With such a complicated political situation, still daring to go all in, I admire your courage.
