Pull out this year's trading statement, took a look, and gained quite a few insights.

The most intuitive discovery is: the difference in making money doesn't fundamentally lie in judging the right direction, but in how you operate. This year's market has been highly segmented, with mainstream coins following a rhythm, while altcoins have extremely thin liquidity, and a slight misstep can cost you tuition.

I tried several strategies to respond. Grid trading helps detach emotions from frequent trading, and mechanical execution proves to be more stable. Coupled with some stablecoin yield products, idle funds are not wasted. On-chain tools are becoming more and more handy; completing transactions and settlements on the chain reduces many intermediate risks.

The core experience can be summed up in one word:冷 (cold). Stay unaffected by short-term volatility noise, avoid chasing highs, don't bottom-fish, and cut losses when necessary. In such a low-tolerance market environment, simply surviving is a win.

Mid-year, there was a particularly intense adjustment period, during which losses were most concentrated, mainly because the rhythm was off when chasing hot trends. Later, I realized that instead of guessing where the next hot spot is, it's better to manage existing positions well. The lesson the market taught this year is: execution is more valuable than prediction.

Regarding execution, I also learned a painful lesson this year. I keep thinking that the next coin will explode, but as a result, my holdings ended up in chaos.

honestly... execution over prediction hits different when you've actually blown up a portfolio chasing the next "inevitable" moon. grid trading sounds boring as hell but yeah, that's kinda the point, right? staying alive in a market where everyone's liquidated is actually alpha.

Honestly, the grid trading system is indeed reliable. I'm also using it, but you have to endure the market fluctuations. These days, it's all about the trading rhythm. Even if the direction is correct, you can still lose if you don't operate properly. Staying alive is winning, no problem. Screenshot saved for record. I gave up on the prediction method a long time ago; it's too exhausting. It's better to just honestly execute the plan. That scam project... I got burned pretty badly this year, with liquidity being ridiculously poor. I rate the combination of grid + stablecoins quite highly; it’s much more worry-free. Most people just need to learn this lesson: don’t try to gamble everything at once. Stability is key to long-term survival. Reality is so harsh—most people are still chasing the high.

Execution really hit home for me. During the mid-year wave, I chased the hot spots until I was exhausted, and now I'm actually more stable.

Execution capability is outstanding. I was also heavily caught up in chasing hot topics this year, but it's more reliable to play it safe with grid trading and stablecoins to ensure steady gains.
