Sling Money Gets Regulatory Clearance to Expand UK Crypto Operations

Avian Labs’ payment platform Sling Money has secured regulatory clearance from the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority, marking a significant milestone for the company’s European expansion strategy. The authorization enables the platform to offer cryptocurrency services across the UK market, following its earlier regulatory approval from Dutch authorities in April.

The platform enables users to conduct transactions using USDP and EURC stablecoins built on the Solana blockchain, with a distinctive feature being instant local currency withdrawal capabilities across 80 different countries. This multi-currency settlement approach positions Sling Money as a versatile solution for international remittances and cross-border payments.

The UK regulatory approval represents a major step forward for Sling Money’s growth trajectory in Europe. Having already established operations in the Netherlands through its April licensing, the company is now strengthening its footprint across key European markets. The service is currently undergoing controlled rollout in the UK through a limited access program.
