I usually look at whether the team has previous successful cases and whether the code has been audited. --- It's the same old story. First, check if the smart contract has been audited, and then the key question— is the liquidity real? Don’t get wiped out by slippage. --- Nah, my experience is that these new projects are mostly just for quick profit. If the annualized APY looks outrageous, nine times out of ten, the arbitrage opportunity is almost gone. --- I remember a Solana project from three months ago. As soon as the funding news came out, the whole network was hyping it up, but two weeks later, the team ran off. So now I don’t even bother with the idea of "the next big ecosystem hit."

I stopped believing in projects like this on the SOL chain a long time ago. They're basically just here to scam retail investors. If there's really a solid project, it would have already been listed on major exchanges.
