Deep Tide TechFlow News, January 7th, according to an official announcement, Stripe and Paradigm jointly launched the payment public chain Tempo, which introduced the native token standard TIP-20, specifically designed for stablecoins and payment use cases. TIP-20 extends the Ethereum ERC-20 standard with features such as transfer memos, compliance controls, and reward distribution, fully backward compatible.

The standard features six core functions: native currency identifier, transfer memo, reward distribution, custom policy registration, operational control, and role-based access management. TIP-20 can be applied in scenarios such as corporate fund management, cross-border payments, wholesale settlement, and deposit tokens.

Tempo also provides dedicated channels for payment transactions, ensuring high throughput and predictable fees. Any USD-pegged TIP-20 stablecoin can be used to pay for transaction fees on Tempo.
