Recently, I noticed an interesting phenomenon—lisUSD has integrated with a central bank digital currency payment gateway, which made me reevaluate the future direction of stablecoins.

To be honest, this is not just a functional iteration, but a solution to the biggest pain point of stablecoins: how to truly utilize on-chain assets. In the past, holding stablecoins meant either trading them on exchanges or leaving them idle. Now, it's different—users can directly exchange lisUSD for CBDC and then use it for daily consumption or cross-border transfers.

I personally tried this process. The exchange rate is anchored at 1:1, with no fees, and transferring to an overseas account took less than 5 minutes. Compared to traditional wire transfers, that’s a full 3 days faster. This speed difference may seem small, but it’s very significant for scenarios like cross-border trade or urgent liquidity needs.

More importantly, from a compliance perspective, this collaboration is led by a licensed institution in Singapore, fully meeting anti-money laundering and identity verification requirements. As a result, lisUSD is no longer just labeled as a "decentralized stablecoin," but has truly gained institutional-level trust endorsement. Traditional financial institutions previously held a wait-and-see attitude towards stablecoins, but this compliance foundation can break that psychological barrier.

My current thought is that, in the future, the competition among stablecoins will not depend on how decentralized they are, but on whether they can truly enter practical application scenarios. Stablecoins that can connect on-chain and off-chain and gain regulatory approval are the ones with vitality. Therefore, I recently adjusted my stablecoin portfolio, increasing the proportion of lisUSD.

Wow, 5 minutes to arrive vs 3 days for wire transfer, the gap is indeed outrageous. No wonder I have a heavy position in lisUSD.

Oh wow, this is what a stablecoin should look like, not just a simple trading tool.

5-minute arrival, what wire transfer do you need? This move with lisUSD is indeed the right play.

ngl, bridging on/off ramps without getting liquidated on compliance is lowkey the real endgame... been there, done that, got the liquidation notice to prove it. lisUSD actually moving into real utility instead of just sitting in some yield farm? that's the move. finally.

This is the right path. The decentralized approach is outdated; practicality is the true way to go.

5-minute arrival, this is truly amazing. Traditional cross-border transactions really need to be replaced.
