Looking ahead to 2026, here are the TGE projects catching my attention.
First up is KAST—a Web3 credit card that lets you spend USDC globally with actual utility. What makes it interesting is the point system that grows alongside protocol revenue, so early supporters stand to benefit more. Classic asymmetric upside setup.
Then there's Backpack, which is pushing the boundaries of what decentralized finance can become. The team's quietly shipping features that challenge traditional finance playbooks, making the whole ecosystem feel like it's hitting different. Definitely one to monitor closely through 2026.

KAST's system design is indeed good. Early entrants can indeed enjoy the growth dividends, but it depends on whether the team’s execution capability is up to par. There are many projects that sound good but may not deliver.

KAST's point system sounds good, but how many can actually be implemented and used... Backpack is indeed making moves, but I don't know how long they can stick with it.

I looked into KAST's point system. If it's linked to protocol revenue, how would that affect liquidity depth? Do you have any data on this? ... I have a feeling that the arbitrage opportunities for early entrants are overestimated.

KAST's point system really has some substance, increasing along with the protocol's revenue... early birds definitely benefit.

The revenue share idea for KAST is indeed interesting, but can it really be implemented... I've been following Backpack all along, just waiting to see if the team can truly break the norm.
