Wallet evolution and CEX on-chain: The era of functional reorganization in the crypto ecosystem

【Crypto World】The role of wallets has been quietly transforming. Remember the Bitcoin era, when they were just private key signing tools? By the time of DeFi Summer, the situation changed dramatically—wallets suddenly became an essential gateway to on-chain finance. High-frequency inscription transactions and Meme speculation allowed All-In-One wallets to evolve from management tools to trading hubs, holding the power of traffic distribution.

This wave of change has cornered exchanges. In the past, users moved in and out of CEXs, and the wealth effect of VC coins attracted countless people. But now? New assets and high yields are moving on-chain, and users are spending less time on exchanges. CEXs have realized they can no longer sit and wait.

On-chain solutions have become the new answer. But note, this is not simply moving non-custodial wallets onto exchanges. What is the true gameplay? Under the premise of protecting user asset sovereignty, deeply integrating exchange account systems, trading capabilities, and on-chain applications. This approach preserves the advantages of compliance and fiat channels while extending the existing user base into the on-chain ecosystem.

The current market is undergoing a function reorganization. Modular financial capabilities are gradually flowing into wallets, while exchanges are consolidating their territory through on-chain integration and ecosystem binding. This is an unavoidable transformation.

Wallets are really the dark horse, directly promoted from key manager to major trading overseer. CEX, you're really out of options now.

The wallet has taken over the exchange's work. CEX is only now realizing it? We've seen it coming long ago. On-chain is the real main stage.

Wallets are getting stronger, exchanges must either innovate or die—this is truly the inevitable trend.
