Is a small fund destined to lose money? I don't think so.

Recently, I’ve been talking to a sophomore student whose account only has 2000 USDT, asking me about the possibility of turning things around. Honestly, I see this as an advantage. I had him follow my trades for a week, and his account grew from 2000 to 4000. It wasn’t a sudden surge, but steady appreciation. He was a bit confused himself.

The key isn’t luck, nor is it betting everything on one shot. What I taught him is the strategy of "building positions gradually and continuously compounding." I divided the 2000 USDT into four parts, only using 500 USDT at a time. At first, he was a bit reluctant, thinking the gains were too slow.

But then he understood — only by staying in the market constantly can you find opportunities to make money.

Last Wednesday, the market was especially chaotic, and I told everyone to stay put. I know retail traders are most likely to guess directions recklessly in chaos, often leading to quick liquidation. Sure enough, a few who didn’t listen lost 30% in one day. We patiently waited until Friday, confirmed the trend, and then entered, safely earning 20%.

The real turning point was yesterday. When he saw a certain coin drop, he wanted to buy the dip aggressively. I told him two words: stop loss. He gritted his teeth and executed, but that coin then fell another 15%. He said he broke out in cold sweat, but also fully understood what “staying alive is more important than making money” means.

Now, the biggest change isn’t the USDT amount, but his mindset. When the market surges, he doesn’t get excited; when it dips, he stays calm. Trading feels as natural as breathing.

Looking from the other side, I’ve seen too many players starting with 200,000 or 300,000 USDT — going all-in right away, then losing their nerve at the first dip, turning a profit of 100,000 into a loss of 200,000, and finally leaving in embarrassment.

But these beginners with only a few thousand USDT — if they keep the rhythm right — can stay calm and go far in just three months. Small funds tend to develop discipline more easily.

So don’t always say that with little capital, you can’t turn things around. Whether you can turn things around has never depended on how much money you have in your account, but on whether you can control those hands that always want to make reckless moves. #密码资产动态追踪 $KO

Really, mindset >> principal, there's nothing wrong with that statement

That's quite right; mindset is really much more important than the principal.

This guy has a point, a good mindset is indeed the key.

The core is still risk management. Small funds force you to establish discipline, while large funds tend to lead to self-indulgence. This logic cannot be avoided.

nah this hits different tho... the whole "stay alive first, profits second" arc? that's the actual plot twist nobody talks about. most people just see the 2x and miss the whole psychological rewiring happening underneath. poetry in position sizing, fr fr.

Self-discipline over principal, I agree with this.

Oh no, here comes another "mindset determines success or failure" story. Listen, as a seasoned old leek who has been wiped out, I hate this kind of motivational nonsense the most—like controlling your hand can turn things around. I've been controlling my hand for a year, and I still got cut in half.
