I am the kind of trader who crawled out of blood. Seven years ago, during that winter, I took a big hit on a contract—8 million in principal evaporated in an instant, and I still remember that feeling of helplessness vividly. It was precisely because of that lesson that I later figured out the most fundamental and important rule in the crypto world: surviving long enough is worth a thousand times more than short-term riches.

In the spring of 2025, I turned 1,141 yuan of capital into a 2.15 million profit within 30 days. It sounds exaggerated, but there are no black magic behind it—just the "clumsy methods" refined over the years. Today, I will lay out the core ideas.

**First Key Point: Only eat the thickest meat, don’t chew on toxic bones**

I have seen too many people mesmerized by the stories of overnight riches from altcoins, only to end up losing everything. The fluctuations of those coins are completely unpredictable, with obvious signs of market manipulation. Essentially, it’s just a playground for whales to harvest retail investors.

I set a strict rule for myself: only trade BTC and ETH with high sell-high, buy-low strategies, and ignore everything else. These two coins are the ballast of the crypto market. Even if caught in a short-term trap, there’s no need to fear—they always have opportunities to turn around during a bull cycle. Last year, many followed the trend and speculated on obscure coins, which rose slowly and fell quickly. I instead stuck to these two mainstream coins and ultimately gained a steady increase of over 50%.

**Second Key Point: Position size and leverage are like a seesaw—if one side is high, the other must be low**

I usually use 10x leverage, combined with 2 to 3 layers of position size (total capital allocation of 20%-30%). Once the position exceeds 30%, the leverage must be reduced to below 15x. When it reaches 40%, leverage must be cut to within 5x. This is a lesson learned at the cost of liquidation: leverage and position size are always inversely related. If you want one side to be heavy, the other must be light.

Another critical detail—stop-loss. Many people treat stop-loss as a decoration, but in fact, it’s the real safety belt. I set a stop-loss on every trade—not as psychological comfort, but as a rule to protect myself.

The part about the 8 million liquidation... really, some lessons are engraved in the bones and can never be forgotten. Longevity is the true winner, this saying hits home. --- From 1141 to 2.15 million? No way, that number is so outrageous I almost want to believe it. --- I agree only trading mainstream coins; altcoins are indeed gambling, not trading. --- The analogy of leverage and position as a seesaw is brilliant... reminds me of my past greed, having liquidated my positions multiple times. --- Stop-loss is really underestimated; so many people fall because they can't bear to cut. --- This guy has been through hell, much more credible than those overnight wealth stories. --- 10x leverage with 20% position... I need to think about it, feels a bit risky. --- Seven years of accumulation in the crypto world, the words sound different now. --- Rules and execution are the ultimate keys to winning, no doubt about that.

The 8 million direct evaporation really hit home, I feel like I saw my own shadow... Living now is indeed more precious than anything else. However, I have to be honest about the 1,141 to 2,150,000 thing; the numbers still sound a bit unbelievable. The leverage and position toggle logic is clear now. I agree only trading mainstream coins; altcoins are just a casino, you only understand after losing. The part about stop-losses must be praised; it's more effective than any motivational chicken soup, but executing it is the hardest.

8 million directly evaporated, I can understand that. You really have to crawl out of the pit to realize what it means to be alive is the most important. However, from 1141 to 2.15 million... I truly believe in your methodology, but I still feel like the details need to be discussed further.

When I lost 8 million in an instant, I knew that only by staying alive could I turn things around. Honestly, hearing about going from 1141 to 2.15 million sounds unbelievable, but looking at his logic, it really makes sense—stop-loss, position management, only trading mainstream coins. That’s the strategy to survive long enough on the battlefield. The key point is still that living is a thousand times more important than getting rich quickly. I have deep personal experience with this. But going from 1141 to 2.15 million... how aggressive must the leverage have been? If I hadn’t timed it perfectly, I would have been liquidated long ago. I agree with the idea that BTC and ETH are the ballast stones. Those altcoins are just a feast for the whales; I’ve seen too many people leave their bones behind in them. The analogy of the seesaw between position size and leverage is brilliant. This is the lesson I learned from my liquidation fees. Now, operating this way feels more solid. Truly smart traders understand one principle: it’s not about how fast you make money, but how long you survive.

8 million is gone just like that, really impressive mental resilience... But speaking of which, the numbers from 1,141 to 2,150,000 still sound a bit uncertain. Can you share which specific cryptocurrencies' trends you predicted correctly?

8 million evaporated... I believe it. The crypto world teaches you this way, and the cost is a bit high. 2.15 million jumped from 1141? The leverage thing is right; balance is the key to survival. I need to seriously listen to the stop-loss part. Too many people die because they are unwilling to cut their positions.

The 8 million evaporation was truly incredible. If you're still alive, you've already won half the battle. From 1141 to 2.15 million... these numbers are a bit outrageous. Leverage really is a double-edged sword. Regarding stop-loss, you're right—it’s the hardest to execute. Once your mentality collapses, it's all over.

8 million evaporated, that was really harsh, but the saying "live long" is spot on. By the way, from 1141 to 2.15 million... this number just doesn't feel right.

The moment when 8 million instantly evaporated, I could feel that kind of pain... But now, turning 1141 yuan into 2.15 million is indeed a shocking contrast. But to be honest, what I respect most isn't the numbers, but the phrase he said, "Living longer is more valuable than getting rich quickly"—that's true enlightenment.
