A 20 USDT entry threshold might actually serve as an effective filter for serious traders versus casual speculators. Lower barriers tend to attract lazy money that floods in during hype cycles but exits just as quickly. By raising the initial unlock gate, you're essentially weeding out the noise and keeping genuine commitment to the table.

nah, seen this one before back in 2017... low barriers = noise surge, high barriers = actual skin in the game. twenty bucks might seem arbitrary but it does filter out the panic sellers who ghost after first 10% dip. reminds me of early mining pools—same deal, commitment tax weeds out the tourists

ngl 20 USDT is quite a tough threshold, but on the other hand, retail investors are more easily exploited. Setting a higher threshold might actually reduce some trouble...

Oh no, the 20U threshold... I should have listened to this advice last year, and I wouldn't have been caught in the trap of being a leek.

The 20u threshold argument sounds good, but can it really block retail investors... Retail investors are just retail investors, no matter how high, it can't be stopped.

20 USDT threshold? Basically, it's about driving away those trend-following retail investors and keeping the truly patient ones. I quite agree with this logic.

A threshold of 20 yuan? Honestly, that's a bit funny. True retail investors have already been squeezed out long ago. This amount of money can't stop those who want to FOMO.

Requiring a 20u threshold can indeed filter out genuine players, there's no doubt about that. Those retail investors who rush in and then quickly withdraw are not really valuable in the first place.
