Having engaged in the Ethos ecosystem interaction, I have some insights I want to share.
The crypto market has a very clear characteristic—"Once the timing window is missed, projects are easily forgotten." Think about those once popular projects like Lens, DePIN mining projects, and the mini-games within the TON ecosystem. They were indeed very influential at the time, but once the release period's benefits were missed, their popularity sharply declined, eventually becoming less noticed.
It's okay to continue following projects you've participated in. But for projects you missed, don't dwell on it, don't blame yourself, and don't obsessively chase after things that are already out of date. Instead of looking back, it's better to focus your energy on new opportunities. The Web3 ecosystem evolves rapidly, and the next wave of hotspots will come. The key is to stay sharp, not be driven by FOMO.

Really, if you miss it, you miss it. It's better to focus on the next opportunity than to regret every day.

Really, if you miss out, you miss out. There's no need to struggle with yourself. The key is to stay sensitive and not let FOMO ruin your mindset.

Really, FOMO kills people, you still have to keep up with the pace

nah this is exactly the pattern i've been tracking since mt. gox days... projects die not because they're bad but because normies have goldfish memory. lens, depin, ton games... all classic sentiment cycle fade-outs. the institutional flow moves on, retail chases, then crickets lol

Counting the projects we've missed, it's better to seize the next opportunity than to regret the past. The experience with Ethos indeed reminded me that the crypto world values a sense of timing; a single misstep could lead to being forgotten by the times.

Haha indeed, chasing after missed window periods is pointless, it's like the rocket has already launched and you're still jumping on the ground.
Don't blame yourselves, everyone. The next train will definitely come, the key is not to get caught up in FOMO.
That wave of Lens really didn't catch up, so forget it. Instead of repeatedly looking back, it's better to use dopamine on new things.
Missing the timing by a second makes all the difference; the crypto world is so cruel yet exciting.
For those who caught it, hold on; for those who didn't, consider it as paying tuition. Anyway, the next hot spot is always on the way.
Staying sharp is more important than anything else. Being hijacked by FOMO is the fastest way to lose money.
Web3 is evolving so rapidly that today's obscure projects might be launching next week.
Instead of entangling on a track that's already burned out, it's better to reserve supplies and wait for the next launch window.
Really, if you miss it, you miss it. Don't let regret turn into stubbornness.
Well said, the booster for the next wave of hot spots should already be loading.
