Talus, the infrastructure platform for decentralized AI agents, has announced a significant shift in its TGE distribution strategy. Instead of using yUS as originally planned, the platform will now deliver assets in US tokens to participants in the airdrop program.
What prompted this change?
The decision stems from complications in launching yUS, the experimental token designed to represent liquidity positions with yield generation. The operational partner of the Talus vault was unable to guarantee the long-term technical and operational support required for this asset, leading to the postponement of its market debut.
Talus maintains the staking schedule
Despite the yUS delay, Talus confirms that users can continue staking US tokens in the loyalty program incentives as originally scheduled. This flexibility ensures that participants’ yield generation strategies are not affected.
Technical context: NODO AI and Momentum DEX
The yUS tokens were conceived as tools to optimize positions in the US-USDC pool within Momentum DEX, relying on the NODO AI vault to execute automated liquidity strategies. Although this technology remains in development, Talus prioritizes ensuring its reliability before any public launch.
The decision reinforces Talus’s focus on delivering robust products, even if it means adjusting previously announced timelines on November 24.
