XMR has recently performed well, rising from 632 to 681 in one go, with a significant increase. However, a closer look at the technical aspects reveals interesting details—the price continues to rise while trading volume is shrinking. This divergence between volume and price is worth examining.

What does a volume contraction during an upward move usually indicate? It suggests a high level of chip locking, and market liquidity is drying up. In other words, the upward momentum at this stage may not be driven by widespread buying follow-through, but rather by a few large players controlling the rhythm.

In such a low-liquidity environment, once large funds enter or positive news triggers a reaction, it could directly lead to a short squeeze. Retail investors holding positions are either forced to chase the high or watch helplessly as they miss the opportunity. If you hesitate at this point, you might really end up regretting it later.

The pattern of increasing with low volume is something I've seen too many times. To put it simply, it's the big players hyping themselves up, waiting for retail investors' FOMO to come in, and then it's a harvest operation.

Playing the game of volume-driven surges is getting old; retail investors are always the last to take the bait.

The pattern of increasing with low volume is something I've seen many times before; it's just the big players hyping themselves up. If you ask me, this wave of XMR is just testing whether there are any follow-through traders; if not, it will be smashed sooner or later. Retail investors really shouldn't be fooled by this false prosperity. Wait until liquidity returns before making any moves. Entering at this position is just handing over your position to others. Short squeeze? Don't be silly, first see if anyone is willing to follow.
