Recently, I had tea with a big brother who makes money by selling "side hustle courses."

I asked him: The marketing techniques taught in your courses, do you actually use them yourself? He smiled and said: If I really made money from those techniques, would I have time to come out and teach?

I asked again: So what do you rely on to make these tens of millions? He pointed to the delivery guy passing outside the window: Relying on their desire to get rich.

He told me that the most profitable and risk-free business in this world is not teaching people how to make money, but earning money from those who are "desperate to get rich." If you tell him to set up a stall, write code, or do logistics, that's called teaching people to do things, and he finds it tiring; if you tell him to buy your course, master an "information gap," and achieve financial freedom in three months, he will kneel and give you the money.

I said: Isn't that just harvesting? He replied: That's called "cognitive tax." He thought he was buying an opportunity, but in fact, he was buying a placebo to ease his anxiety.

Later, I realized that any method of teaching your money-making logic in front of a large audience has basically lost its value of information advantage. True huge profits are always hidden in the cracks of "unspeakable" and "unwilling to say" things.
