Was at a Petrol pump in Delhi, today. There were smart cameras fixed. A car, in front of me had an expired PUCC. It identified it and announced it.
I asked the guy at the petrol station about it and he informed me that there are three such cameras - Entry, exit and midway.
I was intrigued and asked if they deny petrol to them? So the rule is that for the first time, it is just the announcement and it gets recorded. If the same vehicle enters another petrol pump and defaults again, the vehicle will be served with a challan.
A good move.
