But I have a strong personal feeling: ice baths can be very effective in lowering heart rate. Especially after the pandemic, many people are not actually having heart problems, but their autonomic nervous system is out of whack—walking with a heart rate of 80+ and a long-term RHR above 65 during sleep. If you are also in this situation, my suggestion is to give it a try.
