Today is the second day of the Lunar New Year.
I haven't looked at my phone for two days.
The New Year is the time when my schedule is the most regular and also the most exhausting.
On New Year's Eve, I spent the whole afternoon preparing the New Year's Eve dinner.
On the morning of the first day of the New Year, my parents woke me up at 8:00 to eat tangyuan.
At 10:00, we went to pay respects at the cemetery.
In the afternoon, we visited relatives.
In the evening, we went to my grandma's house in the countryside for dinner.
In the countryside, lights go out at 8:00 PM, and everyone goes to sleep.
Usually, I might still be playing with the soil dog at 8:00 in the morning.
On the first night of the New Year, I fell asleep by 8:00 PM.
In the middle of the night, my cousin came back at 12:30 and woke me up.
Now I’m getting ready to take a quick nap.
If all goes as expected,
Grandma will start waking us up at 6:00 tomorrow morning.
I can probably delay until 7:00 at most,
because they start making breakfast at 6:00,
and call us to eat at 7:00.
Then the whole family begins visiting relatives.
Others get holidays for the New Year,
but I only feel like I’m working during the holiday.
What do you all do for the New Year?
