Market Summary for Today -- Will Next Week Break Out of the Range? Which Way Will It Go?

Bitcoin (BTC) has been a rollercoaster today, staying within a narrow range of 67,770-68,220 throughout the day. Ethereum (ETH) showed relative weakness, with a decline tonight, currently trading at $1,957. As the weekly candle closes, it’s likely to form another bearish doji, resulting in five consecutive weekly down candles, which is a sign of extreme weakness. From the daily chart, we can see that the price has reached the end of a flag pattern consolidation. Next week, a direction should be chosen. Considering the overall weekly weakness, the small financial advisor remains bearish, and a downward breakout seems more probable.

On the news front, the US did not strike Iran this weekend, but Trump has imposed tariffs again. Although there hasn't been a significant drop in the market now, weekend liquidity is usually lower, and the impact of tariffs tends to be persistent. Additionally, China and Europe may retaliate against the US later, so overall, the market sentiment remains more bearish.

Next week’s resistance levels: Bitcoin around 69,000; Ethereum around 2,040

Next week’s support levels: Bitcoin around 59,900; Ethereum around 1,740
BTC-1,08%
ETH-1,55%
