🐧 The Suit Penguin Files a $500 Million Lawsuit Against Pudgy Penguins The ME News reports that PEI Licensing (the parent company of Original Penguin) filed a lawsuit against Pudgy Penguins on March 4, 2026, in the Southern District Court of Florida, accusing them of infringing on their clothing trademarks such as “Pudgy Penguins” and “Pengu Nation,” which feature a penguin logo used since 1956. A cease and desist order issued in October 2023 was unsuccessful.
